In September 2001 AMGS joined forces with the fully refereed and international academic online journal German as a foreign language, available at http://www.gfl-journal.de.

Since the two-part conference on 'Kinder- and Jugendliteratur' (November 2000 and June 2001), selected and peer-reviewed papers from AMGS conferences have been published in the form of 'Sondernummern' or 'Themenhefte' as part of the German as a foreign language journal.

All AMGS members are very welcome to submit manuscripts for consideration to the GFL journal. Please make sure that you have considered the stylesheet from the section 'Information for authors' which is a submenu of 'About GFL' at http://www.gfl-journal.de. Please send your articles to:

Dr Norbert Pachler represents the Association on the Editorial Board of the GFL journal and Dr Peter Barker serves on the journal's Advisory Committee on behalf of AMGS.

Dr Peter Barker also acts as liaison reviews editor. The AMGS will continue to publish some reviews on the website (see amgs reviews) ; some will also appear as part of the GFL journal. Colleagues interested in contributing reviews to this website or who would like to suggest books for review, please contact Dr Peter Barker.
